Admission

The registrations cum admissions to various classes will begin for the academic year 2012-13 from 15th  January. Following details can help you understand the procedures better: Eligibility

  • Candidate seeking admission to Nursery and LKG should have attained the age of 3½ years and 4½ years respectively.
  • For higher classes, the age should correspondingly match in relevant increments. 

Registration Procedure


  • Admission is on the basis of a written test that may be followed by an interview.
  • For admission to class I to V, tests are conducted in English, Mathematics, Science, Urdu, Hindi and G.S.
  • Specific syllabus is prescribed for the test, but the candidate must have sufficient knowledge of the subject appropriate of the class lower than the one to which admission is sought.
  • There is no written test for admission to Nursery & LKG class. However, the children are required to appear for an interview with the parents. Overall growth, observation, self-reliance are the main factors to decide his/her admission.

Admission Rules


  • Admission will strictly be on merit-basis
  • Submit Birth Certificate, Transfer Certificate (if applicable), Medical Fitness Certificate and 3 Passport-sized Photographs alongwith the Admission form durng the time of admission.
  • Deposit the Fees within 7 days of selection, failing which the seat will be allotted to the next waiting candidate.

Important Information


All the students and the concerned parents/guardians must take a good note of the following points in order for smooth operation and interactions:
  • Fee Revision: The school reserves the right to revise the tuition fee and other fees at the end of the session which will be notified one month before the start of the new session
  • Fee Refunds: Fees once paid will not be refunded on any account
  • Behavior: The students or their guardians are expected to behave properly. If they behave in an unruly way they can be debarred from entering the school campus which is private property.
  • Damage Recovery: The students who damage the school property will have to make good the loss. If a particular student is not found then all the students of the concerned class or group will have to pay for the loss
  • Rustication: Refusal to pay fees and other school dues will make students liable to be rusticated

Rules & Guidelines


Daily Routine
  • All Students must possess identity card, school-dairy, text-books, note-books and relevant stationery along with them everyday
  • All students must come to school in neat and tidy uniform
  • Any material (magazines, mobiles, etc.) not relevant to the everyday studies will be confiscated if brought to school
  • The working hours for the day are 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (which can be changed as per the management's decision
  • Make it a habit to read the Notice Board daily

Academics


  • Admission is on the basis of a written test that may be followed by an interview
  • Students must obey thier House Captain and other volunteers on duty.
  • School bus users must follow the instructions of driver and conductor.
  • Students are required to appear in the Terminal Examinations and Unit Tests conducted every year.

Attendance


  • Students must be regular in attendance. Minimum 75% attendance is must for promotion to higher class
  • Leave Application counter-signed by parent/guardian must be submitted in advance
  • If a student remains absent from school for 6 consecutive days without leave notice or without a justified reason for the same, the school will struck off his/her name from the rolls
  • It is compulsory for a student to attend the school on the first day after and last day before the vacations
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school in working hours unless the parent (whose signatures are borne on diary) come in person

Disciplinary


  • Students must not indulge in any sort of disruptive activities
  • Any damage to school-property by the student will be borne by the parent/guardian of student concerned
  • School reserves the right to take severe action against  indisciplinary acts of the student

Withdrawal


  • Withdrawal from school must be preceded by one-month prior notice or one-month fee (in lieu of no notice)
  • All dues need to be cleared before Transfer Certificate is issued
  • Security will be refunded after 15 days of receipt of application
  • Withdrawal can be asked for by the school authorities on failure of a student on academic, disciplinary and fee-arrears grounds

For The Parents


  • Parents must regularly attend the Parent-Teacher Meetings held at school
  • Do ensure that your ward has all textbooks, stationery items and craft materials
  • Do ensure that your ward comes to school in proper and neat uniform
  • Channel the lunch-box, water-bottle etc. to your wards through the school office
  • Please initmate change in contact details (address, telephone nos., email IDs etc.) to the school office

General Guidelines


  • Abide by all the rules and help foster harmony and efficiency
  • Safegaurd the school property
  • Imbibe a spirit of universal brotherhood and mutual co-operation
  • Imbibe the vrtues of politeness, kindness, nobility, integrity, honesty, service and sacrifice
  • Be courteous and cultivate good manners
  • Be in tune with the eternal Indian culture and enrich it with the study of modern science and technology

Fee Payment


  • Fee is collected in four installment for the whole year.
  • Fee will be charged with a Fine of Rs. 5 if deposited after the last date.
  • Fee once paid will not be refunded on any grounds whatsoever
  • All payments must be made in cash to the cashier against the printed receipt only
  • Fee receipts must be produced as and when demanded by the school
  • Please do not pay a single rupee without the receipt for it
  • School will not be responsible for any transaction carried out with persons other than Cashier/Clerk
